Practical methods for the quality control of inoculants biofertilisers
Publication Code:
MN147
Price:
$35.00
Inoculant biofertilisers are preparations that contain beneficial micro-organisms that are applied to crops with the aim of reducing or replacing more costly and environmentally damaging chemical fertilisers. Research has shown that rice yields in Vietnam can be maintained and even increased with reduced application rates of chemical fertiliser when treated with the biofertiliser BioGro. However, the benefits of reduced input costs and potential yield increases can only be achieved if there is adequate quality control of biofertiliser production.
A guide to upland cropping in Cambodia: soybean
Publication Code:
MN146
Price:
$40.00
In response to the Royal Cambodian Government’s National Poverty Reduction Strategy (2003–2005), ACIAR funded research to develop sustainable farming systems for crops, with a focus on maize, soybean, sesame, mungbean, peanut and cowpea in upland areas of Kampong Cham and Battambang provinces. Beef production in crop–livestock systems: simple approaches for complex problems
Publication Code:
MN145
