Dr Kuhu Chatterjee is the Regional Manager for South Asia. The Program focuses on improved and sustainable smallholder production. This is being done through better management of water resources, improved varieties of crops in the rice-wheat systems, efficient and sustainable farming practices along with an understanding of policy constraints and options. Dr Chatterjee has 15 years of experience in project management in international organisations in the natural resource management sector and six years scientific research experience. She has been with ACIAR since the year 2000. Prior to this she worked with the British Council and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and managed projects funded by DFID and other international donors. She has a Phd in Environmental sciences with research experience in Aquatic Ecology.
