Mr Albert Blair is Chief Finance Officer for ACIAR. His responsibilities include providing strategic financial advice to the Executive and Board, and oversight of the Finance Section’s operations. Albert joined ACIAR in May 2010 and has over 20 years’ experience in all facets of finance and accounting both at strategic and operational levels. He recently worked with an Australian Government statutory authority and has extensive experience in the aid-funded sector, including with the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, Fiji, the Northern Land Council, Darwin, and as an auditor/accountant with Price Waterhouse in the United Kingdom and Papua New Guinea. He holds a Masters of Commercial Law, postgraduate diploma in advanced financial accounting and a BSc (Economics and Accounting).
