Leucaena: adaption, quality and farming systems

These proceedings report the presentations at the international workshop on Leucaena held at the Vietnam National University in Hanoi, 9-14 February 1998 and comprise three major sections: Taxonomy and Agronomy, Forage Quality and Farming Systems. For each section, several speakers, eminent in their field, were invited to give keynote presentations overviewing their work and that of other relevant international research. Leucaena continues to be a valuable species for international agriculture and increasing knowledge of the biology of Leucaena will ensure that the many benefits of this multipurpose genus are maximised, and the negative impacts limited.
