Disease Control and Storage Life Extension in Fruit

Summary

Treatments which extend storage life by reducing disease and delaying ripening are essential if tropical fruit are to be shipped to distant markets. The objectives of the ACIAR project were to develop non-chemical measures for postharvest diseases and assess their impact on fruit quality. Papers presented during a workshop held in Thailand are presented here.
