Newcastle disease (ND) is a widespread and important cause of loss in productivity of village poultry. The objective of this ACIAR project was to provide a simple and cheap method of protecting village poultry which was safe, appropriate and sustainable in the village poultry systems of Asia. This publication covers the papers presented at an International Workshop held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 6-10 October 1991.
