Buffalo and goats in Asia

These seminar proceedings report the results of ACIAR sponsored research which commenced in 1985. Results indicate that crossbreeding among the different buffalo types leads to an increase in productivity measured as growth, fertility, milk production and draught capacity. Equally important are the substantial genetic differences discovered among populations of buffalo and goats from the differenct regions.
