Controlling Newcastle disease in village chickens: a laboratory manual

This manual describes the procedures needed to produce and test live, thermostable avirulent I-2 vaccine against Newcastle disease of poultry. It also discusses the handling of samples for confirmation of diagnosis of Newcastle disease and the procedures used in conducting challenge trials with the vaccine.
