Alexandra Bagnara

Alex Bagnara is ACIAR’s New Media and Public Relations manager. Reporting to the Corporate Communications manager, Alex maintains ACIAR's social media and web 2.0 presence. She is responsible for environmental scanning and strategic communication activities.

Ms Bagnara provides strategic and tactical communications advice to ACIAR program areas, as well as for the organisation as a whole.

Ms Bagnara obtained her Masters degree in Marketing Communications in 2012, complementing her undergraduate studies in television and sound production. She has worked in communications areas (including PR, advertising, marketing, information management) for over a decade. The majority of her work experience is in the agriculture and environment sectors, with positions in government departments and agencies, industry associations and research organisations.
