ACIAR currently has a new Chief Scientist position available in its Canberra office.
This position reflects the growth of ACIAR and the need to ensure sufficient executive oversight of ACIAR’s research portfolio, the balance and modalities of research investment across the portfolio, and science quality and impact.
The new Chief Scientist position will oversee ACIAR’s research portfolio from a science perspective, in close collaboration with the General Manager Country Programs who is responsible for the development and implementation of country-specific research strategies, and the General Manager Global programs who is responsible for ACIAR’s investment in multilateral global research programs including the CGIAR.
