Dr Paul Fox

Paul Fox is Research Program Manager for Crop Improvement and Management. The program aims to increase productivity, sustainability and utilisation of major crops and cropping systems of mutual importance to Australia and developing countries in our region.

Paul has a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Hons) from the University of Adelaide and a PhD from the University of Western Australia, specialising in plant breeding. He joins ACIAR from Grain Biotech Australia Pty Ltd, where he was General Manager. Paul has worked at the International Centre for Maize and Wheat Improvement (CIMMYT) as a breeder and pathologist, and ran the International Crop Information System and International Wheat Nurseries Sections. He has also worked in the United States as International Product Development Manager for an international seed company.
