Alexandra Bagnara

Alex Bagnara is ACIAR’s Science Communicator. As part of the Corporate Communications team, Alex helps to make ACIAR research accessible to the various stakeholders of our organisation.

Ms Bagnara is Editor of ACIAR’s flagship publication: Partners for Research and Development. Partners features articles on ACIAR projects focusing on the outcomes and impacts in developing countries and Australia. She provides communications support for ACIAR projects and programs, as well as for the organisation as a whole.

Ms Bagnara expects to complete her Masters degree in Marketing Communications in 2011, complementing her undergraduate studies in television and sound production. She has worked in communications areas (including PR, advertising, marketing, information management) for over a decade. The majority of her work experience is in the agriculture and environment sectors, with positions in government departments and agencies, industry associations and research organisations.
